It sure looks like there are a lot of changes being made in Port Charles these days! General Hospital comings and goings say that Haley Pullos is temporarily out. That’s because the actress is currently recovering from an accident. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to new reports, the producers of General Hospital have had to temporarily rec-ast the role of Molly Lansing-Davis. That’s because Haley Pullos will be on medical leave for the next several months.
The actress released a statement to Soap Opera Digest that said, “Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I’m doing okay, but I am going to need a little time to recover. I will be back as soon as possible.”
Actress Holiday Mia Kriegel will be her replacement. Of course, many General Hospital fans did have a lot to say about the matter. Some commented with, “Wishing Haley Pullos a healthy recovery. But, how weird will it be to have two new Davis daughters during the week of May 22?” along with, “How weird is it that she’s seen maybe 5 times a year and yet it necessitates a temp recast?”
Another critic wrote, “I hope she is well. However, what’s even more interesting is that Tajh Bellow (TJ) is on contract. Yet, there is no real story to be generated between TJ and Molly because Haley Pullos appearing 22 episodes in 2021, 12 episodes in 2022, and 8 (so-far) in 2023 is not enough to generate a real storyline for them both. Where Tajh as TJ has been reliant on being a supporting player in other people’s storylines to get more screentime. And that is mostly appearing in the doctor’s role. Because a subplot about medical issues related to trying to get pregnant is not a storyline.”
We definitely wish Haley a very speedy recovery as there’s no doubt that her fans can’t wait to see her back on the small screen.
