It’s not over until it’s really over. General Hospital star Charles Shaunghnessy recently hinted that his character, Victor Quartermaine, might return to Port Charles. While that might be wishful thinking, it’s also a possibility, too. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.”
The talented actor took to his Twitter account to respond to a fan that said she loved watching him on the small screen. He replied with, “Thank you! It was an absolute pleasure to terrorize the good people of PC for the last 18 months. I will miss the extraordinary cast and crew as well as you, the fans. Let’s hope it’s ‘au revoir.’”
Let’s hope? That last bit definitely has us wondering what Charles really means, as some believe that he might be dropping a major hint here. After all, if there’s anything that we’ve learned about the daytime television world, it’s that you are never really dead, even when everyone thinks that you are dead, right?
Well, General Hospital fans sure did have a lot to say about it. Many of them commented with, “GH isn’t going to be the same without you. I have watched you as Shane Donovan, who knew you could be such a villain lol. A very talented actor & I am going to miss you. Maybe, a return is possible?” along with, “It just can’t be the end. You were just too good as Victor. I enjoyed every moment.”
Another fan wrote, “You were absolutely Brilliant as Victor Cassadine. Bravo! I will miss seeing you on GH. And I too hope it’s ‘’au revoir’ and ‘et à bientôt’ after all no one really stays dead in PC.”
Watch this space as we have a feeling that this won’t be the last time that we will be seeing Victor Quartermaine on the canvas. Of course, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
