While there’s no doubt that Port Charles has seen its fair share of baby drama over the years, it looks like General Hospital star Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) might be dealing with some, off camera, too. That’s because his pregnant girlfriend Luana Lucci has recently revealed that she is too stressed to have a baby shower right now. Chad and Luana only started dating for a few months when the flight attendant found out that she was pregnant with the couple’s first child. And while this is certainly a joyous occasion for the couple, Luana says that sadly, she can’t have a baby shower right now. She says that just thinking about planning a party has made her feel very overwhelmed. And because she can’t have any stress right now during her pregnancy, she’s decided to opt out from one. She also asked her followers for gifts by sharing a link to their baby registry on her Instagram account.

Luana also said, “Decided not to have a baby shower. We made our Baby Registry since a lot of my friends want to give our baby something. Link in bio. We’re also planning to make a video opening all the gifts, so even though we won’t have a shower, we can still feel a little bit of the joy and love that comes with it. Thank you all for your understanding and support!”

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Chad And Luana?

Back in April, it was reported that Luana was also being trolled by General Hospital fans over her pregnancy. She wrote in one post, “I haven’t post in a long time which is not very like me since I am so active in social media but the recent hate I have been receiving gave me anxiety and ptsd towards posting in my social media. I haven’t looked in my dms in so long in fear I will see something disgusting and mean. It’s hard to wrap my mind around on how ADULTS can bully someone they know nothing about and making assumptions.”

So far Chad himself has not made any comments about the matter.
