At least there’s one person in this family that has a conscience, right? The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Daniel wants to confess the truth about his mother Phyllis Summers being alive. The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Daniel Wants The Truth To Come Out

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, actor Michael Graziadei, who plays Daniel on the hit CBS soap, says that his character knows that the truth will have to come out sooner rather than later. After all, Phyllis can only hide her face in Genoa City for so long. He put it this way, “Having information like that and not divulging it, especially when people’s livelihoods and lives are at stake, it’s not something to be taken lightly. This is so difficult for Daniel because he’s one of those people who wants to step up and do the right thing – no matter what the consequences are.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Daniel has even more of a reason to feel guilt-ridden over the fact that Diane Jenkins has been charged for supposedly killing Phyllis. Needless to say, Diane’s freedom is hanging in the balance over this. Daniel knows that she doesn’t deserve to spend the rest of her life for a murder that she obviously didn’t commit. He can’t believe that Phyllis is still even pretending to be dead at this point while knowing that she’s about to ruin someone else’s life. 

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Phyllis Summers?

Michael adds, “Knowing that an innocent person is being charged, with the possibility of being tried and convicted, is not something Daniel wants to have hanging over his head. He feels inclined to do the right thing, but will it cost him his family? He’s got a big decision to make.”
