The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 8, 2023 reveal that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) gets a huge surprise at Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) memorial party held to dedicate the jazz club named in his honor.

He wants to know how his biological mother, Harmony aka Yolanda Hamilton (Chene’ Lawson) heard about the Genoa City, Wisconsin event. Will Harmony tell him that it was Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) who reached out and invited her?

But likity spilt, just as he marvels over the presence of his mother, he has another big surprise in store! Waiting in the wings is Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) who also comes home to Genoa City and having these two loved ones home leaves Devon gobsmacked with happiness.

It should be a tender moment when Devon thanks his estranged bio dad Tucker alone for such a thoughtful gesture on his behalf.

And now we move from the sweet to the sour: Nate “Dawg” Hastings (Sean Dominic) manages to make it back from his infidelity trip to LA and is also at the gathering.

Daniel is not cool with his twisted sister’s lying to her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) whose own mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), is framed for Red’s murder.
