Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Nicole Walker certainly received the kind of news that she didn’t expect to hear at all: Kayla tells her that she’s pregnant. At first, Kayla thinks that it’s perimenopause until she runs a couple of tests to find out that yes, Nicole is indeed pregnant. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Arianne Zucker, who plays Nicole on the hit Peacock soap, says that this is definitely the last thing that her character needs in her life right now. And that’s not just because of her complicated medical history, but also because she doesn’t know who the father is. It could easily be Eric or it could be EJ.
Arianne puts it this way, “It’s a high-risk pregnancy. Kayla’s very supportive about figuring out who the father could be, which obviously means doing a paternity test.”
Days of Our Lives spoilers also say that things get even more complicated when EJ tells Nicole that she knows that she slept with Eric. Arianne says, “EJ is changing with Nicole, not necessarily with other things in his life and dealing with his own family, but with her, he’s flipped a switch. He’s been way more supportive than explosive.”
EJ expresses his concern for Nicole and admits that he’s afraid that she’s not telling him all of the truth. Which of course might very well be the case between them. Arianne says that for Nicole, she definitely needs a moment to process everything that is going on in her life right now. She says, “I mean, look, this is just as big for him as it is for her. And she could lose the baby, she could miscarry. She’s just keeping the news close to the vest until she decides what she wants to do.”
