Prince Harry Smiled At ‘Sulky’ Prince William And Kate Middleton At The Coronation

It looks like at least one person is allowing bygones to be bygones. That’s because Prince Harry apparently made the first move in hopefully easing tensions between himself and the rest of the royal family at King Charles’ coronation on Sunday. Apparently, the Duke of Sussex made the effort to smile and at least acknowledge Prince William and Kate Middleton while he walked past them. While the Prince and Princess of Wales probably tried their best not to notice him, Prince Harry did what he could to get their attention the best way he could. Prince Harry Smiled At ‘Sulky’ Prince William And Kate Middleton At The Coronation

Unfortunately for Prince Harry, he did not have an official role at the Coronation, unlike his older brother, Prince William. That might be one of the reasons why he was treated like any other member of the royal family, and not like a senior royal. While Prince William and Kate Middleton and their three children sat in the front during the ceremony, Harry sat a few rows back. He also arrived at Westminster Abbey with his cousins, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, and their respective partners.

But Prince Harry made sure not to miss the opportunity to at least look his brother in the eye as that’s exactly what he did before he took his seat. The Duke of Sussex gave William a huge smile and said hello and did the same to his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. It’s uncertain if William and Kate at least made the effort to look up at Harry, but some eyewitnesses say that the Prince and Princess of Wales did look pretty sulky at that very moment. 

Prince Harry Left London For Los Angeles

Unfortunately, there was no time for any royal chit chat as Prince Harry reportedly made a beeline to Heathrow airport the moment that the ceremony was over. He is hoping to make it back to Los Angeles on time for his son Archi’s 4th birthday. The royal family, meanwhile, will continue the coronation celebrations with a concert later in the evening.
