General Hospital Spoilers leak Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has blown up the wedding, and her life along with it. It looks like she’s not the only one caught in the explosion either. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) have joined her in the SEC’s firing line thanks to Martin ‘Marty’ Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) confession on Nina’s behalf. But it’s going to take more than the SEC to keep Drew and Carly away from each other.

Nina may not have the power to bring them down, but Drew’s plan to fix it could. When he comes home from Greenland with the perfect plan in mind — to get married — will Carly agree to it? Is this all for convenience, or are they going to get hitched for the right reasons?

However, when Drew has a brush with death, Carly can’t help but feel shaken. To make things more complicated, rumors are swirling around that Drew may be popping the question to Carly upon his return. After all, a near-death experience can make you realize what’s truly important in life. While Drew seems certain about his future with Carly, her emotional impulsivity may have her making promises she knows she can’t keep.

Carly and Drew are both facing a considerable amount of time in federal prison if they can’t find a way out of this mess. While Drew is a good guy who always does the right thing, Carly is a bit more of a wannabe reformed bad girl. She’s been known to get married for convenience — if the terms are right and in her favor. Well, what could be more favorable than staying out of jail? It seems like wedded bliss is the only way she and Drew can avoid having to testify against one another, but that doesn’t mean Drew isn’t going to pull out all the stops to make sure Carly knows this means more to him than just a legal loophole.
