Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Gabi DiMera Be Recast?

If there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in the daytime television world, it’s that when a character is gone, that doesn’t mean he or she will be gone forever. In fact, there’s always a chance that they will come back sooner rather than later. That’s why a lot of Days of Our Lives fans are wondering what will happen to Gabi DiMera now that actress Camila Banus is leaving the show. Here’s what you need to know.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Gabi DiMera Be Recast?

Just recently, Camilla announced that she’s leaving Days of Our Lives. She told The Wrap, “Although it’s been wonderful and we’ve had a super great reception, for me, I felt like that was kind of like the initial start for changes happening in general. And I kind of just saw that as a sign for me to start the next chapter in my life. “

With that said, many Days of Our Lives fans sure did have a lot to say about Camila’s departure from the show. A lot of people can’t help but wonder if the character of Gabi DiMera will be recast. Some commented with, “Aww man, I’m going to miss her. But I wish her much success in career Si se puede chica! 🙂 I do hope Days recasts the role. I LOVE Gaby & Stefan. And I don’t want Brandon Barash to return to GH cause the writing there is terrible, and they’ll just waste him,” along with, “Too bad the show couldn’t put Camila on recurring status. Gabi was much more fun to watch when she was with Stefan then those early years with Will.I hope that the role is recast or a great backstory for Stefan is created.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Gabi DiMera?

Another critic wrote, “Maybe the character will be recast? The show needs that Sami/Gabi/Theresa bad girl. What a loss. She’s left and come back before. I hope we see her again and I hope they write her better. The Gabi/Li/Stefan storyline could have been a little more exciting, but it was flat for me, which is a shame because the actors deserved better.”
