General Hospital stars Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey have something major to celebrate! The couple, who first met on the set of the hit ABC soap, have been together and in love for six years now. Talk about a major milestone, right? Here’s what you need to know!
Sharing a photo from their very first date together, Wes wrote in his caption, “6 years ago today I had her number and the butterflies to go with it! She agreed to let me take her out on the town! We laughed & fell madly in love in a magical & instantaneous kind of way. We saw live theater, reminisced, courted one another with romance & honesty…& kept smiling & laughing into the night. I knew my life would never be the same again…& I’m a better man for it. Happy US day beautiful! Here we are, still making our way….I love you.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both Wes’ fans and his followers to comment on his photo. Many of them said, “Laura oozes happiness since being with you. I think she looks younger and more beautiful. She’s a favorite of mine on GH. BTW I like you to Wes. I might be 81 but I’m not dead yet! I wish you and Laura a very long and very happy life together. My husband and I celebrate 60 years this year,” along with, “This picture is so great of the 2 of you. You make such a beautiful couple. I wish you guys nothing but happiness and many long years together.”
With that said, many General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder what’s next for the couple. Seeing how they have been together for six years now, there’s a possibility that Wes might ask the all important question to Laura very soon. It would only be natural for them to take that next step, right? Watch this space.
