Peter Reckell Admits He Was Dissatisfied With Days of Our Lives Storyline

It seems like even some of the stars of the show are also some of its biggest critics, too. In fact, Days of Our Lives star Peter Reckell, who is best known for his role as Bo Brady on the soap, admits that he was not a fan of the show’s most recent storyline. He even admits that his return to the soap was definitely not an easy one. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Peter Reckell Admits He Was Dissatisfied With Days of Our Lives Storyline

In an interview with Michael Fairman TV, Peter admits that he was a bit disappointed that his character didn’t get the reunion with Hope Brady that he was hoping for. Well, make that both Peter and many Days of Our Lives fans out there. During his video chat, the actor said, “People are having huge feelings. Which is great, because it shows that the audience is passionate about what they want to see.”

Peter also hinted that he was hoping for a better outcome for Bo and Hope, but that decision was left up solely to the writers. Yet, if he were to have it his way, he would make sure that things would be different. He said, “The circumstances are rather difficult with us coming back for these short times and it’s so long in between the times we come back. Obviously the audience wants something.”

If that weren’t enough, Peter also hinted that he really doesn’t hope that this spells the end for Bo and Hope’s storyline or their love for that matter. He said, “It wouldn’t be fair to the fans. To leave it like this… I can’t even think about it. I don’t see how it’s possible because it would be very disrespectful to the fans.”
