Speaking to Daytime Confidential in a new interview, actor Joshua Hoffman, who plays the new RJ on the hit CBS soap, says that there’s a reason why he’s back home, and that’s not just because he misses his parents Ridge Forreter and Brooke Logan. It’s also because he had to come home for a reason. Joshua puts it this way, “Well, he’s been traveling a ton and now he’s back. I’d say, keep a close eye for why he’s back. I’m turning into that as much as I can, as well—the little subtle details of why he says he’s back, and then other reasons why he wants to be back home.”

Joshua also opened up about working with the incredible Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge on the show and of course, Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays Brooke Logan. He says that the experience has been nothing short than amazing.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For RJ?

“ Thorsten has really taken me under his wing, and given me a lot of great advice onset, offset, and just everywhere, really. It’s hard to put into words. They treated me like a son from day one, which is interesting as an actor. I think I met Katherine and we did a scene immediately where it was like, ‘Oh, I’m your son, and you’re my mom!’”

Talk about one happy family, right? Well, maybe not!
