General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 27 tease weddings, worries and words! It’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding day, the family worries if she’ll get a last minute save, and Ava Jerome (Maura West) doesn’t mince words.
At the Quartermaine mansion, it seems Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) demanding updates from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) about her love life. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is there as Tracy notes his presence and that he is the young man Brook Lynn’s been hiding from. Tracy, of course is out of the loop since Chase and Brook Lynn broke up although they still seem to be friends.
Chase had asked her previously why she didn’t say goodbye at the CCRB meeting, and she’d told him she had to pick up Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda). Plus, he’d been talking to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at the time-Tracy will demand answers from him too, likely.
Michael tells someone it’s the happiest day of his life, as guests start arriving as well as likely some members of the wedding party. He had been talking to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dante as he’d been preparing to put on the cufflinks Dante had given him. It was his something “old, borrowed, and blue” and a pair of cufflinks that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) had owned. Grooms don’t usually do that but they still fit all those descriptions.
It looks like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) might be in the Quartermaine kitchen as she worries about Willow, and if she’ll get a last minute save. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is still a hostage of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and was supposed to donate her bone marrow. Everyone worries if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and his companions will be able to bring Liesl and the others back safe.
As for Maxie, she asks Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Wally Kurth, Lisa LoCicero) if either of them have heard from Willow. She may just be the nervous wedding planner but on the other hand, she may be worried Willow has collapsed!
Still at the gatehouse where Michael and Willow live with their children, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) delivers encouraging words to Willow. She says today is the only day they get, implying for the wedding, so let’s make it a good one. That is really all anyone has since tomorrow’s not promised to anyone no matter how good their health is. It’s even more worrisome to those who know Victor’s trying to wipe out most of human life with an airborne pathogen!
Sonny gets a hug from an exuberant Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) as Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexie Ainsworth) stands by and smiles. Sonny’s leg-locked by the little boy as he asks him if he’s excited about the wedding, to which he shouts “Oh yeah!” He’s a main part of it since he’s the ring bearer and gets to give the wedding rings to Michael and Willow.
Everyone is very proud of the children and their part in the wedding, and Wiley is no exception. It’s a big deal to get all dressed up and walk down the wedding aisle with the rings in front of all those people.
At Sonny’s penthouse, Ava doesn’t mince words when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tells her what she did. Even though Ava mentioned reporting Carly for insider trading, she probably didn’t mean she should include Drew, especially not now. Nina got the ball rolling by calling Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and asking him to make a report to the Securities and Exchange Commission, but also to keep it anonymous.
Nevertheless, anonymous or not, Ava knows that Nina will be the first person suspected of doing it. She warns her when it all comes out, it is the end of her and Sonny!
