General Hospital Spoilers: Love Ain’t the Only Thing That Made Dex’s Heart Drop — He’s Also Tumbled for the Mob!

General Hospital spoilers hint that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is developing a strong bond with mob boss, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — much to the surprise of everyone around him. Though initially tasked with infiltrating the organization and taking it down from the inside, something changed for Dex after he was grazed by a bullet intended for Sonny, and he hasn’t been able to free himself from the ties that now bind him to the crime lord. Now, he seems to be falling for more than just Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy; he genuinely cares about Sonny and his criminal enterprise, too.

General Hospital Spoilers — Won’t Michael Be Ticked?

This growing bond will surely put Dex at odds with Joss if she discovers what’s going on. It won’t come as a surprise to her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), though. He was initially eager for Dex to follow through on his assignment, but Michael’s heart hasn’t been in it for a while now. As Dex pulls back and starts to waffle on his commitment to the plan, Michael just might set him free. Michael doesn’t actually want to hurt his father anymore, and he’s pleased to hear that Dex is willing to stand down.

GH Spoilers Leak Joss May Think She Chose Wrong to Begin With

Joss will feel betrayed by everybody getting their way while she’s left without anyone looking out for what she feels are her best interests. She was hoping for a normal relationship with Dex, not to fall in love with someone who is in danger every time they leave her. As things continue to go south with Dex and it starts looking like he won’t be getting out of the mob anytime soon, Joss might start to wonder if she threw away a good thing with Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton).

Soon, summertime will be among everyone in Port Charles, and Cam will be headed back home as his portrayer, Lipton, breaks from college as well. If Cam comes back into Joss’ orbit when things are on the rocks with Dex, he just might notice how unhappy she is compared to when he left her. She had told Cam that Dex wasn’t going to be in the mob forever, so why is he still by Sonny’s side? Will Joss find that Cam is still the safest person to trust with her heart?
