The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this week Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is going to once again clash with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Before he even has to hear what Victor says, Nick already has his guard up because he knows that it’s not going to be good. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, even though Nick doesn’t want to be the CEO of anything when it comes to the family business, Victor knows that his son gets things done as Victoria’s COO.
Actor Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to the publication, “Victor trusts that Nick can provide the same support as Adam’s COO. Victor knows it’s a pretty huge undertaking to be CEO and that it might be putting too much on Adam. Plus, Victor just wants Nick and Adam to be closer than they are, so this essentially puts them in the same room to work stuff out.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that at first, Nick refuses to go along with his father’s plan but Victor wants Nick to get closer to his brother and understand just how much Adam loves Sally. Joshua adds, “He wants Nick to do the right thing and back away from her. But that’s not going to happen. Every person in his family diminishes Nick’s affection for Sally. He is crazy about her.”
But then again, Victor is the kind of guy who doesn’t quit until he gets what he wants. Joshua says, “Nick knows there are always layers to Victor’s plans that will no doubt include some shady machinations when it comes to Sally, which Nick will soon find out about.”
