With Eric and Nicole having their little secret affair behind EJ and Sloan’s back, there’s no doubt that the truth will come out sooner rather than later. While a lot of DOOL fans would agree that Eric and Nicole are two people who are meant to be with one another, the stars just aren’t aligned in their favor. They are having to secretly tip-toe around everyone and especially EJ, as they don’t want anyone to know about their little secret tryst. This has also prompted a lot of people to wonder if a pregnancy might complicate their relationship even more. It’s bound to happen, right?

Needless to say, many Days of Our Lives fans sure did have a lot to say about this storyline. Some commented with, “Sloan surely does know a lot of stuff about a lot of different people, doesn’t she? Why didn’t Nicole go into her room and lock the door rather than speaking to Eric in the hall? And indeed, why did she feel the need to lie in the first place since they were both under the influence of the drug? And where in the world is Holly?” along with, “I wonder if Nicole is finally going to end up being pregnant with Eric’s baby. I enjoy Nicole with EJ more than any other partner she’s ever had but, as you said, we will never get it for long because Ron and previous writers ignore the toxicity that EJ and Sami represent and keep finding ways for them to get back together.”

Another DOOL critic wrote, “I’m just irritated because they’ll play the who’s the daddy game and in the end it’ll be Eric because Ron is determined to force this pairing down our throat despite the fact that for ten years Nicole didn’t think once of Eric. And for all the fans who thought it was crappy that they kept killing off Nicole’s kids with EJ so they could always keep Sami/EJ alive.”
