This Is The Real Reason Why Kate Middleton Resents Meghan Markle So Much

It seems as though Kate Middleton is still harboring a lot of resentment towards Meghan Markle but it has nothing to do with all of the things that were said in her Netflix documentary or in Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare. Instead, it’s because of what went down soon after it was announced that Queen Elizabeth had passed away back in September of last year. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, the Princess of Wales was upset when she was told that she couldn’t see Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral on the day that she died along with the other senior members of the royal family. Kate was asked to be left behind just so Meghan Markle wouldn’t have an excuse to go. So instead of seeing Queen Elizabeth one last time, Kate had to stay in Norfolk and be with her three children. And this is something she resents Meghan for because if it weren’t for her, she would have been at Balmoral that day. At least that’s what Robert Jobson says in his new book, Our King.

Kate hates the fact that she was told to stay away even though Sophie Wessex was there to support her husband, Prince Edward. He puts it this way, “The King said it was only for the children and grandchildren to be with the Queen. Privately, he wanted to say Meghan was not welcome. But he couldn’t say that to Harry so he personally intervened and asked Kate to stay back so that it was fairer on Meghan.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Kate Middleton?

Many royal critics commented on the matter with, “ Kate is mad that she was the ONLY spouse not invited. Harry wanted Meghan there, William didn’t want Kate there. This is her trying to change the narrative,” along with, “If anything Kate should be angry with Charles for effectively banning her and with William for agreeing to it.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
