We knew he would be back in action in no time! The Young and the Restless alum Donny Boaz has just landed a new job. Here’s what you need to know!
According to Soaps in Depth, Donny will be one of the guest stars on FBI: Most Wanted during the April 10th episode. How exciting! He wrote on his Instagram page, “Do me a favor. Set your DVRs and/or tune in to FBI: MOST WANTED this coming Tuesday. I have yet to see this episode, but I have to say, I’m very excited for this one to come out, for many reasons.”
Back in October of 2021, it was reported that Connor Floyd would be joining the cast of The Young and the Restless to take over the role as Chance Chancellor from Donny Boaz. And while there might have been some controversy surrounding Donny’s departure from the show, he did say that he valued all of the time that he got to spend with his co-stars, and particularly Eric Braeden and Peter Bergman.
Donny told Soaps in Depth in 2020, “The other day, I was in the middle of a scene with Eric Braeden and Peter Bergman. It was surreal and informative. You can’t help but learn from them. From the start, Peter welcomed me to the show, put his arm around me and goes, ‘All right, here are my rules of the show,’ and he walks you thought. He is so inviting and accepting! I love to learn new things. It’s one of my greatest passions, beside acting. And how can you not learn from these guys?”
Donny also once said that he never thought he would become an actor or a model when he was a kid. When Donny was in high school, he was approached by a woman that suggested he should try modeling. After one thing led to another, Donny found himself for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry while trying to juggle his college work. He worked the runway for Calvin Klein and even appeared in ads for Abercrombie & Fitch. And now he’s a television star with some major credits to his name!
That said, The Young and the Restless fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next! There’s no doubt that we will be tuning in!
