Royal Family News suggests there’s a very good chance that Kate Middleton might be dreading the coronation and it all has to do with her “mean girl” reputation. While there are several reports suggesting Kate might be the reason why Meghan Markle is not attending the coronation ceremonies, other reports suggest that things are going to get pretty icy between the Princess of Wales and her former BFF, Rose Hanbury. Kate Middleton Is Dreading The Coronation Because Of Her ‘Mean Girl’ Reputation?

As many royal fans probably already know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that only the prince will be flying to London to attend King Charles’ Coronation next month. The Duchess of Sussex will be staying behind in California with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet. Several sources say that one of the reasons why Meghan has decided to stay back is because she doesn’t want to be left humiliated by Kate Middleton, let alone the rest of the royal family. Apparently, the Princess of Wales said that Meghan is to sit in the back of Westminster Abbey or not come at all. Given only those two choices, Meghan decided not to come at all.

But Meghan isn’t the only person who has become a problem for Kate Middleton. Rose Hanbury, who was reportedly Prince William’s mistress, will also be at the ceremony. And that’s not because she wants to be at the coronation, but because she has to be. Rose’s husband David is King Charles’ Lord-in-Waiting. What’s more, Rose’s son will be a page boy at the coronation too and alongside Prince George. Kate will have no choice but to come into contact with Rose seeing how their two sons have the same jobs at the coronation.

What’s Next For Kate Middleton?

Now, Kate Middleton does have two options here. She can either grin and bear it and put on a forced smile throughout the whole ordeal or just look as miserable as she did when she did the Windsor walkabout with Harry and Meghan shortly after Queen Elizabeth’s death. Either way, there’s no doubt that all eyes will be on Kate which means that she will really have to play nice, right?
