General Hospital Spoilers: Dangerous Men, Desperate Escape Plots, Devious Rescue Missions

General Hospital spoilers for the week of April 17 tease dangerous men and desperate plots. As Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) plot to escape Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), back home all their loved ones plan rescue missions.

General Hospital Spoilers: Dangerous Men

Onboard The Haunted Star, which is now out at sea, Spencer cautions Trina, saying that man, meaning Victor, is more dangerous than he ever could have imagined. He tells her if they don’t stop him before landfall, it will be too late for all of them; Spencer speaks with urgency as Trina appears frightened. Trina has been able to contact her mother back home, and several are working on devious rescue missions.

As Victor is devious, so the rescuers and Spencer and Trina must be devious, in order to outsmart the Cassadine megalomaniac. If Victor is allowed to carry out his plan, then over half the population of the world will be exterminated and the remainder controlled by a monster.

GH Spoilers: Curtis Ashford And Drew Cain Team Up

Back at Port Charles, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) talks to his old friend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about Trina’s plight. Curtis may not know for sure, or ever know, if Trina is his biological daughter, but he’s stepping up to make sure she’s safe. He tells Drew that she’s stowed away on The Haunted Star, but he doesn’t know how long she can stay hidden.

Curtis is upset that he wasn’t allowed to “officially” join the search which Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) wants to be in charge of. There’s a reason Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) left her out of the loop up until now, but Drew was going to join the Victor takedown team anyway.

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson Connects With Ava Jerome

At GH, a weeping Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) connects with Ava Jerome, (Maura West) who is also worried about Trina; Ava being her mentor who thinks of her as a daughter. Ava admits time is running out, and the two try to encourage each other to stay strong, Portia being a very worried mother. Meanwhile, on the Haunted Star, Trina continues to sneak around as she and Spencer plot to buy time for the rescue parties to reach their heading.

Trina says they have to do something, and the something is for Trina to sabotage engines in the engine room to slow down The Haunted Star. Spencer and Trina hope that in doing so, it will buy time for the rescuers to get to them.
