Let’s just say that there’s a very good chance he’ll be sleeping much better at night from now until May 6th. Royal Family News says that Prince William is most likely relieved that his sister-in-law Meghan Markle won’t be attending King Charles’ coronation on May 6th. As many royal fans probably know by now, the Sussexes announced that it will only be Prince Harry that will be traveling to London for the ceremony at Westminster Abbey. Meghan, meanwhile, will be staying at home with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Prince William has made it no secret that he’s never been a fan of the Duchess of Sussex, In fact, one of the reasons why he and Prince Harry began feuding was because William suggested to his little brother that he move slowly in his relationship with Meghan. That did not go down very well with Harry. And since that moment, things just haven’t been the same for the royal brothers. Harry has accused William and his wife Kate Middleton of being jealous of Meghan Markle and trying to plant unfavorable stories about her in the media.
While the Prince of William hasn’t said anything about the matter on his end, his facial expressions and his body language has done most of the talking for him. Both the Prince and Princess of Wales have made it pretty clear that they don’t feel very comfortable around Meghan Markle. They might even be accusing her of trying to destroy the royal family from behind palace doors. Either way, there’s no doubt that William is letting out a huge sigh of relief over the fact that Meghan won’t be at the coronation. She won’t be taking away the spotlight from King Charles or make the day about her. And for this, William is most certainly grateful. Do you agree?
