So, does this mean that she’s really going to die this time around? Well, with the way things are going, maybe. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this week Jeremy is actually going to threaten Phyllis in the hopes that he can help keep her in line. This, while she is hiding out in a motel room in Genoa City during the same time that everyone is supposedly mourning her death. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jeremy Threatens Phyllis

Apparently, Phyllis agreed to fake her death simply because she felt as though she didn’t have anything to lose at this point in her life. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith says that before her fake death, Phyllis had no contact with her children and already felt like she had lost them.

He puts it this way, “Phyllis felt there was nothing left for her in Genoa City after being shut out by Diane’s machinations. And so here was an opportunity to get revenge on Diane by framing her for murder, and then Phyllis would have a clean slate where she could reinvent her life.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when Phyllis insists on returning to the land of the living, Jeremy puts a stop to that almost immediately. In fact, he also has a reaction that Phyllis wouldn’t have otherwise expected from him.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Phyllis?

Griffith says, “He threatens to kill Phyllis. At first, she says that he wouldn’t jeopardize his parole but he reminds her that everyone thinks she’s already dead, so no one would ever know that he disposed of her for real. Phyllis decides not to let this guy see that he scares her and she pretends to come to her senses, but doesn’t count her out. Phyllis had never met a disaster she couldn’t get out of.”
