It looks like everything that has happened in the past has certainly caught up to him. Royal Family News suggests that even though it’s still a month away, King Charles’ coronation is already being deemed both sad and pathetic for this reason. Here’s what you need to know.

It seems as though there isn’t much excitement or fanfare surrounding King Charles’ coronation. That’s because of all the drama surrounding who is going to be there, who has already declined their invitations to be there and who got snubbed. What’s more, it seems like a lot of people really feel like there is no need to celebrate seeing how the economy in England isn’t fairing well. That, and King Charles’ popularity isn’t as high as it used to be. 

Needless to say, many royal fans and critics alike weighed in on the matter on social media. Some of them have left comments such as, “Just think that if Charles had been a better son, husband, (to Diana) and father maybe his coronation would have been great to experience.  Dude has done nothing worth celebrating,” along with, “Someone talked about the lack of joy in this thing and I have to reiterate. Its all snubs, worries, fears, disappointments. Man waited seventy years for this day and if you ask British media, it doesn’t seem like he’ll enjoy it very much.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For King Charles And The Coronation?

Another critic wrote, “You’d thing a kind would have the highest, most refine, knowledgeable people to counsel and guide him, but this whole thing seems mediocre, petty and unrefined. This ceremony lack one thing that should be very present ‘Joy’ all we read about it is snubs, straws, nails, coffins.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter but there’s no doubt that royal staffers want to see this coronation go down successfully. After all, it will be a history making day, regardless of who will be there and who will not. Watch this space.
