Is Camilla Parker Bowles Being Cruel To Sarah Ferguson?

Royal Family News suggests there might be a good reason why Sarah Ferguson wasn’t invited to the coronation on May 6th and it has nothing to do with King Charles. Instead, there’s speculation that suggests Camilla Parker Bowles might have had something to do with the Duchess of York taken off the invite list. Is Camilla Parker Bowles Being Cruel To Sarah Ferguson?

It has been confirmed that Sarah Ferguson will not be at the coronation. Even though her daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will both be there, there will be no place reserved for Sarah at Westminster Abbey. Earlier in the month, the Duchess of York even said that she will be spending the coronation day at home. According to the Daily Express, Sarah said, “I personally will be having a little tea room and coronation chicken sandwich and putting out the bunting, that’s what I’m going to be doing. Because that would make me very happy. I also love to watch it on the telly because you hear a lot on the telly.”

She also added, “Remember I am divorced from him [Prince Andrew] so I don’t expect… you can’t have it both ways, you can’t be divorced and then say, ‘I want this…’ [You’re in] or you’re out.”

Are Camilla And Sarah Even Friends?

Yet, some royal fans and critics believe that Camilla Parker Bowles might have had something to do with Sarah being snubbed from the ceremony. After all, Sarah was very good friends and close with her late sister-in-law, Princess Diana. Even though the tabloids tried to create some friction between them, there was never any drama between them. In fact, Sarah still talks very highly of Princess Diana and says that if she were still here today, she would have been proud of her sons Prince William and Prince Harry and the respective families that they have built.

That said, many royal observers have noticed that Sarah almost has nothing to ever say about Queen Camilla. That is certainly telling. It seems as though the two women have never been on good terms and there’s a very good chance that Camilla might have had the final say about Sarah going to the coronation or not. Of course, this is all fan speculation. The two aren’t friends, but then again, they haven’t looked like the worst of enemies either, right?
