In fact, her plan might be working because it seems like everyone is convinced that Diane had poisoned her. That is, everyone except for Diane Jenkins and Jack Abbott, of course. They have been left absolutely stunned by everything that has happened so far. They think it’s Jeremy Stark who murdered Phyllis and is trying to get his revenge on Diane at the same time.

If that weren’t enough, Phyllis’ two children Summer and Daniel have been left absolutely devastated over her death, too. They can’t picture their life without their mother, even though they’ve both had rocky relationships with her.
