The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Monday, April 17: Victor Discovers Sally’s Secret, Jack’s Desperation to Save Diane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 17 tease that Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) fake death continues to roil the lives of those she left behind. She and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) did a bang up job of framing their foe Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for her “murder” and now the Abbott family is torn asunder trying to pick up the pieces. On Monday Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) goes out of his way to save his fiancé and it involves Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).

Last week fans saw a frantic Diane plead with Michael to rep her after she was arrested at Phyllis’ memorial by Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) who got news that Diane bought the poison used to kill Red.

Michael was besties with Phyllis but in the end he will have a hard time ignoring his legal duties to serve those presumed innocent until proven guilty. At the same time desperate Jack has a special request for Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) who has sworn to bring Red’s killer to justice–no conflicts of interest here at all. Jack is trying to show that evil and smarmy widower Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is the guilty party but everything changes when the inevitable reveal that Phyllis is not dead comes to light.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Wisconsin Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) drops a bombshell in his gobsmacked father Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) lap. Talk about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) comes up with Victor thinking that his son Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) romance with her will fizzle out eventually. Maybe, maybe not, but what Adam tells him frosts his shorts.

Victor is confident that the red-haired lass will be a distant memory to the Newman’s soon enough but Adam confesses that Sally is having his baby. Plus, he’s still in love with her. That news does not go down well. At all.
Once Victor gets all the latest dish he’s concerned about the fraught relationship between his sons. Adam is not so worried as last week he and Sally had a cozy bonding moment while Nick was at Phyllis’ memorial.

They felt the baby move and darn if there wasn’t a spark there! What will Victor do about this latest dilemma? You don’t want to miss a single minute of the red hot action in GC this week Y&R fans, Victor can never be underestimated!
