It doesn’t get any worse than this. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis Summers is being slammed for being a monster to her two children, Summer and Daniel. That’s because she is knowingly putting them in a lot of pain by pretending to be dead. If that weren’t enough, the latest episode even sees Phyllis showing up to her own funeral. As many The Young and the Restless fans know by now, Phyllis has decided to fake her death. Along with Jeremy Stark, they want to pin it on Diane Jenkins. This is mostly because Phyllis hates how Diane came back to Genoa City and has managed to swipe Jack Abbott away from her. And now the entire city of Genoa City is mourning Phyllis’ loss and suffering from it, too. It seems as though both Summer and Daniel are having a hard time moving on from all of this and yet Phyllis is in a dark corner watching it all go down. Talk about a cruel game, right? 

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have commented on this storyline with, “I don’t get it at all. Standing there in that stupid disguise listening to people grieve is really a lot even for Phyllis. She loves her children. I don’t see how she comes back from this. She shouldn’t,” along with, “Phyllis is so mean to do this to her kids. Let’s all find out that she’s alive and move on. The writers have no imagination at all.  None of this makes any sense.  I bet most fans could come up with something more creative.”

Another critic wrote, “How blind is that whole room of people if they can’t see that the woman standing in the entrance is Phyllis. She is a monster to be doing this to her kids though. And the orange lipstick did not help, she was so obvious, can anyone figure out how this ends?”
