Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Confusing The Coronation With Coronation Street?

It’s not a soap opera, but it seems like some people are making it out to be one. Royal Family News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being criticized for apparently confusing King Charles’ upcoming Coronation with the British soap, Coronation Street. That’s because there are some royal insiders that say the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are bringing on way too much drama than they should. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Confusing The Coronation With Coronation Street?

In a new interview with GB News, royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, suggests Harry and Meghan are trying to make everything they do into a real-life soap opera. He said that the couple has been acting very childish and self-centered in the ways that they’ve been trying to make everything about them and all of the misfortunes they experienced while they were still working members of the royal family. 

As many royal fans probably already know, Harry and Meghan have aired out all of the royal family’s dirty laundry in their Netflix docuseries and again in Harry’s book, Spare. Heydel-Mankoo thinks that enough is enough and that Harry and Meghan have been acting very “rude.”

He put it this way, “This whole entire will they or won’t they drama is actually getting really tedious now. That is precisely what the King and the Royal Family don’t need. I think, Harry and Meghan seem to be confusing the coronation with Coronation Street because this isn’t a soap opera. This is a hugely important constitutional and ceremonial event, not just for Britain or the British people, but for all of the Commonwealth realms, including Australia.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

Heydel-Mankoo continued, “They know that essentially with their distance from the Royal Family they’re becoming increasingly uninteresting to the public at large, increasingly irrelevant. This is a way to keep them in the headlines and on the front pages. It actually makes them seem to be powerful with the Royal Family seemingly trying to entice them over the pond. But, this is really quite narcissistic because at the end of the day, this is about celebrating the King. All attention must be on the monarchy and on the King.”
