The Young and the Restless spoilers say that in the latest episode, Summer told her brother Daniel all about her theory surrounding their mother Phyllis Summers’ death. In a rather bizarre conversation, Summer tells her brother that she thinks Jeremy crossed their mother and that Diane double crossed Jeremy, if that makes any sense. She also thinks that Diane might have come back to Genoa City just so she could take over Phyllis’ life. And so far, it seems to have worked. Summer really thinks that Diane is the reason why their mother is dead.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Let’s not rewrite history here. Phyllis is no angel since BOTH THESE SPAWN were born with lies of who their daddies were. Danny isn’t even Daniel’s father but Phyllis lied about it until discovered and she lost custody. Summer was supposed to have been Jack’s but her multiple nights with Nick while married to Jack proved that wrong.”

Another critic wrote, “As for Diane, she is no angel. But for me to believe she is pure evil I need proof other than Phyllis being a sore loser and hyperactive crazy. Sure, have Diane lying about what she was up to but a year into her return NO ONE from Nikki to Victor’s men have discovered the truth. Remember, it didn’t take Tucker long to find her and he wasn’t looking for her. He saw, heard and knew nothing bad about Diane other than her desperate acts.”
