General Hospital Spoilers: Austin and Liz’s Flirtation Rocks Port Charles!

General Hospital spoilers tease both Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) have been involved in romances that have fizzled out in the past few weeks and months. While Elizabeth and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) tried to make things work, his overprotectiveness and other factors have made a romance between them more and more unlikely. Finn still seems infatuated with Elizabeth but it doesn’t seem like becoming a couple again is in their future.

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt’s romance with Maxie Jones didn’t go anywhere!

Austin met Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) under the most unusual circumstances. Maxie had escaped her kidnappers and was going into labor, wandering alone in the woods. Austin came upon her and delivered the baby right in the middle of the wilderness. Maxie may have confused gratitude with romance and even though they tried, their romance didn’t have any kind of sizzle and they broke things off.

In recent weeks, Austin has been spending time with Ava Jerome (Maura West). But they have been more concerned about Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) missing “corpse” than pursuing any kind of love connection.

GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber and Austin Gatlin-Holt haven’t spent much time together!

Despite the fact that Roger Howarth once played Franco Baldwin, Elizabeth’s husband they haven’t really spent any time together. Howarth and Herbst have amazing chemistry so a romance between Elizabeth and Austin should work very well. But Austin’s past and his connection to Ava could pose a threat to this couple before they even get started!

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber and Ava Jerome may become rivals once again!

Ava and Elizabeth have had a lot of issues in the past. They both had a very special relationship with Nikolas, and Austin’s knows that Ava “killed” Nikolas in the heat of the moment. Nikolas isn’t really dead but Ava won’t want Austin cozying up to Elizabeth nonetheless. Likewise, Finn will certainly be jealous if Elizabeth and Austin spend any amount of time together. Perhaps Ava and Finn could find a romance while trying to keep Elizabeth and Austin apart!
