Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Plans For The Coronation Are Being Finalized

It looks like Buckingham Palace is really, really hoping that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will make it to the party. That’s probably one of the reasons why they are already getting the guest slippers out and fluffing their pillows. There’s a new report that says the palace is currently finalizing plans for Harry and Meghan to attend King Charles’ Coronation even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t technically said anything about them accepting their invitation yet. Either the palace is pushing the cart before the horse or they are sending out a message to Harry and Meghan by telling them they really don’t have a choice in the matter. According to Page Six, the plans are being moved forward with or without Harry and Meghan’s say in the matter. One source close to the situation even said, “There have been lengthy discussions between the Sussexes and the palace, there is a time crunch on this, of course. It’s such a historical event and it’s hoped that Harry and Meghan will be there.”

The tipster added, “All families are difficult, but this is no normal family, of course. Harry has a lot of questions about how the event will work.”

One of the reasons why Harry and Meghan might not go to the Coronation is because they are still holding on to the hope that either King Charles or Prince William will give the Sussexes the apology they believe they deserve. Harry even wrote about it in his tell-all book, Spare. He said, “Now you could argue that some of the stuff I’ve put in there, well, they will never forgive me anyway. But the way I see it is, I’m willing to forgive you for everything you’ve done, and I wish you’d actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I’d really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife.”

Of course, both King Charles and Prince William have not made any comments about the matter and at this point it’s doubtful that they will.
