The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 7, tease the warm and fuzzy news that sibs Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) hash out how to never ever again get into the kind of bind that saw them sue each other and nearly destroy their bond.
It would be a lot easier to co-exist if they didn’t have to see each other at the office every day. So Lily and Devon must work out how to move forward now that their lawsuit has been squelched. Although Devon agreed to drop his case,
Lily should keep in mind that he has a hair-trigger temper and his impulse control is infamously low—just ask Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Will Devon try to buy McCall Unlimited and start anew? Or do he and Lily come to some other sort of agreement?
Meanwhile Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) comes upon some previously undisclosed info about Newman Enterprises and doesn’t not like being kept in the dark.
It might have to do with how his mini-me Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) conducted herself in business regarding McCall Unlimited, Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company.
Truth be told, Victor has appointed Victoria to the top job, and yet he still wants to sit in the big boy chair. Maybe Victoria should set him straight about this?
Spoilers indicate that Victoria may downplay his concern and convince him to trust her. And for that we have one word: Ashland Locke.
Tucker is no fool so Victor may realize that Victoria’s mind games did not trick the master manipulator. But Victoria has a chip on her shoulder because Victor wants to give McCall Unlimited to his black sheep son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Adam isn’t going away however, and he will make a demand for his own future at NE, one Victoria is sure not to like.
Adam will hope Victor can come through for him with some good news regarding McCall Unlimited or another big shot opportunity.
And, Victor may also have to do some damage control where another one of Victoria’s bad choices did major damage: J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill)!
