Yikes. It seems like King Charles didn’t have the time or he really didn’t want to make the time. Either way, Royal Family News suggests that King Charles might have ghosted his own son Prince Harry when he was in London last week. As many royal fans know, the Duke of Sussex was in the UK to appear in court for his ongoing case against the Associated Papers. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to Page Six, Prince Harry tried to see his father, King Charles, but the King of England was way too busy to spend time with his younger son. That, or he’s still reeling over the fact that the Duke of Sussex threw everyone in the family under the bus in his tell-all book, Spare. Yet, one source close to the situation said, “Apparently, [Harry] tried to see King Charles, but King Charles said he was too busy.”
That said, multiple reports also indicated that Prince Harry did spend the week at his home of Frogmore Cottage even though he was previously evicted by King Charles from the property, too. It is said that Charles wants to give Frogmore Cottage to his younger brother Prince Andrew so he can open up the Royal Lodge to Prince William and Kate Middleton and their family.
Not only that, but Prince Harry has repeatedly said over and over again that he wants an apology from both King Charles and his brother, Prince William for the way that he and Meghan Markle were treated while they were still members of the royal family. Yet, inside sources say that both Charles and William believe they have no reason at all to apologize, seeing how they didn’t do anything wrong.
Now, whether or not King Charles and Prince Harry will ever patch things up between them remains to be seen, but for now it looks like the King of England is doing everything he can to keep his distance from his son. Regardless of who’s side you are on, that is never a good look, right?
