General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 6 tease angry accusations, intense investigations, and Cassadine chaos! Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) delivers an angry accusation, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) starts an intense investigation, and Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) creating chaos!
Backstage at the Nurses’ Ball Josslyn rudely interrupted as ‘Sprina’ was about to kiss. Spencer told her she had really bad timing, and now she’s blasting him. She tells Spencer he’s caused nothing but misery since he returned to Port Charles, likely referring to Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) coming after he did. She may have agreed to the plan Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) came up with to trap Esmé at first, but now, she seems to have changed her mind.
Otherwise, what could she be upset at Spencer about, unless she just doesn’t trust him with Trina. But it sounds like the plan to drop the charges Esmé had against her is what Josslyn’s upset about.
Trina responds, saying she guesses that she was wrong. It makes sense that it’s the plan that has upset Josslyn and maybe she was wrong about it. Or maybe she’s wrong about her friendship with Josslyn, if she’ll never support her relationship with Spencer. Either way that could be the least of any of their problems with Victor having a henchman at the Nurses’ Ball doing something. It didn’t bode well when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) found a chainsaw missing and then heard one running-everyone could be in danger!
Elsewhere, Sam McCall, (Kelly Monaco) Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are sitting at a table and talking. Cody had previously warned Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) about spending Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) money to settle her gambling debts. If she didn’t tell Sasha the truth, he would-and maybe he’s telling someone else, at least part of it, since Sam asks him why she would do something like that.
Cody has become very protective of Sasha since he’s gotten to know her, and she likes him too. Gladys had best watch her step and not be trying to pawn that expensive bracelet borrowed from Deception Cosmetics!
Elsewhere, Sasha is talking to someone about never needing an excuse to talk to her, and that could be Gladys. Maybe something Cody said got through to her – or is she claiming someone stole the bracelet and she pawned it anyway? Gladys makes a sneaky move, and making up a story about the bracelet being stolen might just be it. Gambling addictions are hard to handle, and more often than not require outside intervention.
Back in the Metro Court Ballroom, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) follows up on a call she received earlier from the medical examiner’s office. It’s been conclusively shown Eileen Ashby’s (Heather Mazur) death was caused by a fall, and Police Commissioner Ashford follows up with her Chief Of Detectives, who’s also at the Nurses’ Ball. She tells Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to start with Victor Cassadine at the top of the list of suspects.
The only problem is, no one knows where to find him – he checked out of the Metro Court. Even Spencer doesn’t know where he is, which was a shock for him.
Outside the not-so-safe safe house where Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) have been hiding Victor barks demands to Sammy Tagliati (Joey Gallo). Another unnamed goon stands at the ready as Victor insists he’s not going away until he gets what he came for. He wanted Lucy eliminated but Anna and Valentin left alive, but he thinks the Ice Princess necklace is there. He couldn’t be more wrong – it’s in Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) desk drawer at the District Attorney’s office.
Backstage at the Nurses’ Ball, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is at the ready and tells someone it’s the least that he can do. He had been trying to get Anna, Valentin and Lucy into a different safe house but thanks to Lucy’s field trips, that’s not working out so well. He and Sam will offer some assistance in Friday’s episode, and the situation where they’re needed may start on Thursday.
Anything can happen at the Nurses’ Ball, and this time it certainly is. There’s still that order to pick someone up at the ball that Victor sent his goon Ambrose (unnamed actor) after too!
