General Hospital News: Kelly Monaco Opens Up Like Never Before

There’s no doubt that when a lot of people think of General Hospital stars, the first name that comes to mind is Kelly Monaco. That’s because she’s one soap star who has been on the hit ABC daytime television for many long decades now. That, and she’s also made her mark on the pop culture world for blowing everyone away during her stints on Dancing With The Stars. And while it might seem like her General Hospital fans know everything there is to know about the actress, that might not be the case. Kelly recently opened up about some of the things she loves the most in her life along with some of the things she doesn’t love at all. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

General Hospital News: Kelly Monaco Opens Up Like Never Before

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Kelly was asked what was the last thing that she bought in cash and her answer was actually an interesting one. She said, “I just went to Morocco and it’s an all-cash country, and I bought five bracelets, which were made right in front of me, for five of my best friends.”

Believe it or not, Kelly also said that she loves watching Antiques Roadshow. She said, “I put it on every night when I’m like, ‘Oh, God, there’s nothing on.’”

Now, if there’s one thing that Kelly hates doing the most, it’s scrubbing her toilets. That’s something we can all relate to, right? Kelly also said that if there’s any place that she memorizes her lines, it’s in her “bedroom, in bed, sound off, no noise. I need the actual paper and I can only memorize lines in yellow highlighter. If it’s any other color, my brain doesn’t register it.”

Kelly also said that she’s really proud of the fact that General Hospital just celebrated its 60th anniversary. She put it this way, “It’s astounding. I feel like the message of the show is for all of us: Never give up, never stop trying; anything is possible and dreams do come true.”
