General Hospital News: Ingo Rademacher And Wife Ehiku Devastated Over Nneka Garland’s Death

General Hospital alum Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jasper Jacks) is devastated over the news that his good friend and General Hospital producer Nneka Garland has died. According to Variety, Nneka died of a heart attack at her home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Here’s what you need to know.

Nneka was on the show for well over two decades. She began her career as an executive assistant and became a producer in 2021. She even shared the show’s Daytime Emmy win for outstanding drama series. Nneka was also a good friend to Ingo and his wife Ehiku, who have both expressed just how sad they feel about her passing.

Sharing a throwback photo of Nneka, Ingo took to his Instagram account to write, “Yesterday I received the tragic news from my cast mate Laura Wright that one of my favorite people at GH died. Nneka Garland had been at GH since 2001 and was assistant to then executive producer Jill Phelps when she came on the show. She was recently promoted to producer which everyone at the show was excited about because she was loved by all. As a producer she was a huge asset to the show. As a person she was a lover of life and loved by all for her work ethic and larger than life personality.”

Ingo then added, “My daughter just said your name Nneka. I wish you could’ve heard it. She saw your picture on my Instagram and said pretty dress and pretty shoes.”

Ingo’s wife Ehiku also followed up by writing, “We love you Nneka, thank you for always having a smile and and kind words every time we would cross paths. For loving on Peanut and Pohaku. I still remember when I first met you in 2006 when Ingo gave me the tour of the offices above the studio. You had the warmest hug and was genuinely happy that Ingo had found a partner. Heaven has gained an Angel. We miss you.”
