The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while they might not have had the best mother and daughter relationship on record, Summer Newman was still her daughter and Phyllis Summers was still her mother. While it might seem like Phyllis is either missing or dead right now, Summer has every reason to freak out about it as she doesn’t know what’s really going on. That, and it seems like Diane Jenkins might have something to do with her mother’s disappearance and that’s why she wants absolutely nothing to do with her. Apparently, Jeremy Stark is doing a pretty good job of laying the groundwork to make it look like Diane Jenkins may have killed Phyllis Summers. Even the thought of this being true is sending shockwaves throughout Genoa City. And while there’s really no evidence to suggest that Diane murdered Phyllis, it’s enough for Summer to want to keep her distance from this questionable woman who has been carrying nothing but a suitcase of dirty little secrets with her everywhere she goes.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle is going to be shocked when he finds out that Summer would rather live in a hotel than anywhere near Diane at the Abbott mansion. But then again, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to Kyle as Summer has made it pretty clear from the beginning that she’s never really trusted his mother to begin with. If she does end up completely turning on Diane, this might take a huge toll on her marriage to Kyle. He doesn’t want to take a step back in his relationship with his mother when he’s already taken so many steps forward. But at the same time, he doesn’t want to lose his wife, either. Watch this space.
