General Hospital spoilers tease Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wants nothing more than to buy more time for himself to spend with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). He has all the resources in the world, but the one thing he really needs is unattainable by his money, prestige, connections, or name. Instead, they’re hanging onto every prayer that Willow is going to receive this transplant and will be receptive to and able to live a long and healthy life with Michael and their kids.
The heaviness in their household lately hasn’t been good for anyone, and Michael knows Willow needs a reprieve. He’s going to take advantage of the alone time when everyone else skips off to the Nurses’ Ball, but it won’t take long before someone is knocking at the door, ready to ruin everything.
This couple has always known how to have a good time. Michael has dated his fair share of women, and he’s always been a bit of a serial relationship guy, much like his father. He’s wined and dined many women and impressed them with his lifestyle, but that never mattered to nor worked on Willow.
She just wants his time, and he’s more than willing to give it all to her now. They don’t need fancy dinners or finer things when they have each other, and that’s what their night at home will be about when everyone else is away on the red carpet.
Willow and Michael won’t get too much time together before Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) busts in to ruin it. Sure, that won’t be her intention, but Nina’s intentions never seem to land quite right. Willow just wants some peace and time away from everyone looking at her with pity and pain in their eyes. She knows her family doesn’t mean to treat her that way, but it feels like Michael is the only one who still really sees her instead of cancer when they look at her. When Nina stops by, she may be the bearer of bad news. Either way, she’s sure to be overwhelming.
It’s becoming a bit of a pattern with Nina and Willow that they clash and it often ends with Willow being so overtaxed that she collapses or has some kind of health setback. In the end, no one ever really blames Nina for it, except maybe for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). This time around, that could change, but the family really is trying to keep the peace for Willow’s sake.
However, time will be of the essence as the next time Nina swings by the gatehouse, it’s going to leave Willow headed for the hospital. It’s not likely she’ll make it back home before the transplant this time, and her health could be touch and go for some time. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
