General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, April 3-Friday, April 7 tease minstrels, music and mayhem as the Nurses’ Ball kicks off for the 60th anniversary. Many acts will be on stage with everything from singers, acrobats, and dancers, while Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) plots mayhem!
The Nurses’ Ball is the place to be as everyone from the hospital seems to be there at the Metro Court for both the hospital’s onscreen 60th anniversary and the show’s. This year, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) take over the announcing for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) who doesn’t like it one little bit! Sydney Val Jean (Chandra Wilson) announces the Red Carpet, where everyone comes in and is introduced on television.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) will perform, as will Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) who lead a singing girl group. Felix DuBois, (Marc Samuel) Deanna Sirtis (Dioni Michelle Collins) and Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) lead a group of dancers in a number, while one nurse break dances and does acrobatics.
Some will be watching from home this year, including Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) hoping to get some pleasant distraction, while others won’t be immune from danger. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) dress up and dance at the safe house, while soon it will be anything but safe-especially for Anna!
Back at the ball, a hooded figure dressed in black gets on an elevator, as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) watch surveillance on a laptop and worry. Shocked looks soon spread in the ballroom as Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) Josslyn, Sasha Corbin, (Sofia Mattsson) Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) see something go down onstage! Later, Dante will make an arrest and then be called to the scene of another crime as Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) gets terrible news.
It’s like Victor is playing musical Cassadine chaos instead of musical chairs, as he’s responsible for what’s happening at the ball as well as at the safe house. As Sydney is says anything can happen at the Nurses’ Ball and probably will, Victor’s in a car looking at a laptop and saying she has no idea, and it’s showtime! More shock and chaos spreads inside the ballroom as Nina looks to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in concern and Carly again looks horrified as Maxie and Bobbie are back on stage.
Was that man in black Dante and Laura were watching get on an elevator earlier at General Hospital, or an elevator in the Metro Court? And, what kind of murder and mayhem did Victor send him to commit?
