While there might have been a time in which everyone would have liked to have seen Phyllis Summers disappear for a little while, this is not one of them. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis has gone missing and of course, everyone in Genoa City is freaking out about it and rightly so, too. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, after Daniel and Summer hear that there was an ambulance crash, they of course worry about their mother. She was en route to the hospital after she fainted.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “Summer and Daniel are in shock after news of the ambulance crash. As they await word that Phyllis is okay, Stark announces that he and Phyllis are married. They both refuse to believe this news and can’t fathom the thought that their mother would marry someone like Jeremy. Everyone in the room agrees that Stark is lying and has an ulterior motive.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that an impatient Jeremy tries to get an update about his wife from Chance. Waiting to hear about Phyllis and where she takes a toll on everyone. Griffith says, “The situation between Daniel and Stark goes from bad to worse and Summer is really hurting. Nick and Kyle warn Stark to back down or face consequences. As the bicentennial gala winds down, the mood in town quickly turns when shocking news is revealed, forever changing the landscape of Genoa City and will keep the residents – and the audience – on the edge of their seats.”
It sounds as though something explosive is going to happen sooner rather than later.
