The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 3, tease that the Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) fallout continues to rock Genoa City, Wisconsin. And determined to get the real scoop is veteran gossip reporter Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) who smells blood in the water—this could be the story that brings her back into the limelight.
Leanna has a nose for dirt, kind of like a pig has a nose for truffles. Despite no one wanting her around, the blond bombshell will try to mine this tragedy for all its worth.
Meanwhile Phyllis’ kids Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) are beside themselves given what’s happened to their mom. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is on the case and he is not being forthcoming which makes them even angrier. They want answers!
Daniel confronts “hubby” Jeremy about his claim to be married to Red and later he and Summer wait to her Phyllis’ fate.
Jeremy chews the scenery acting concerned about Phyllis’ ambulance accident, which does not end well leading to Chance receiving bad news. Summer pressures Chance to tell her what he knows and he may end up spilling that her mom is dead.
Once the news of Phyllis’ demise spreads, her loved ones are in shock. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be stunned and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be devastated about their friend.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is hit hard by the news and Summer and Daniel are devastated.
Phyllis’ “death” is even harder on her kids because they were on the outs with her in recent days and weeks due to her meddling and obsession with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Meanwhile sleazy Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) strike a mutually beneficial deal that involves finding J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill), Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) ex-husband who her mom didn’t kill all those years ago.
Explosive show spoilers reveal that Tucker and Audra are willing to play in the mud so this should be interesting Y&R fans!
