If there’s one daytime alum that everyone is talking about these days, it’s most definitely Victoria Rowell. In fact, The Young and the Restless fans can’t help but wonder if she will come back to the hit CBS soap and especially now that her television son has called for her return. Here’s what you need to know.

Earlier in the week, The Young and the Restless star Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) admitted that he wanted his television mom back on the canvas. It didn’t take very long for the Twitter floodgates to open with a lot of Y&R fans discussing what would happen if Victoria did return to the show as her character, Drucilla. It would certainly give the soap a HUGE boost in the ratings, too.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Many of them commented with, “That would be a dream bringing back Drucilla but not getting my hopes up. What one thing YR could do to expand the Winters family is to recast Olivia,” along with, “If we are so lucky to get Victoria Rowell back we would definitely need a new head writer. Victoria Rowell would have to rewrite scripts to make it work like she always has.”

The Young and the Restless News: Victoria Hasn’t Made Any Comments About A Comeback

Another critic wrote, “She spoke clearly about rewriting scripts during her tenure on the soap. She was vocal about it. In fact, the rules were (for the entire cast) that one would have to have their script changes in by the end of the day to be approved for airing. We can only hope that somehow a long-term return for Drucilla and Victoria Rowell could happen–and soon.”

So far Victoria herself has not made any comments about the matter, but that doesn’t mean she’s not thinking about it. That said, The Young and the Restless fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
