Regardless if you are a fan or not, there’s no denying that these two are iconic. Of course, we are talking about Days of Our Lives couple Nicole and Eric. And we have a feeling their portrayers feel the exact same way. Here’s what you need to know!
Actor Greg Vaughan shared a photo of him along with his co-star Arianne Zucker on his Twitter account and captioned it with, “Look who I bumped into … on purpose.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for his fans and his followers to comment on his post. Many of them wrote, “Beautiful picture of two people I admire so much! I am hopeful that this means that Nicole and Eric are on the verge of reconciliation come the new fall season,” along with, “You two are perfect for each other!”
Arianne even admitted to Soap Opera Digest in an interview last month that her character Nicole and Eric will be two people who will alway belong to one another. She said, “Of course you remember all the innocence of your first love; the attraction and the chemistry. Nicole’s feeling all that and feeling, at the moment, that she’s never going to have that again.”
Now, as far as what’s next for them, remains to be seen but Arianne believes that Nicole never really truly got over her feelings for Eric. Recalling a scene that she shared with Greg recently, Arianne said that their characters, “are trying to be civilized. It feels like it’s that calm after the storm. There’s no blaming, no pointing fingers. I wouldn’t say it’s happy, but it’s something that Nicole and Eric do so well. There’s this connection that will always be there no matter who else they marry or end up with. There’s an underlying chemistry and history that these two people just have. It’s always going to be there, no matter what.”
