General Hospital Spoilers: As William Lipton’s Cameron Webber Exits, Actor Hints At Return

GH spoilers state that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) is off to Stanford University to pursue some incredible California dreams. Most fans were not only shocked by Cam’s recent announcement, but they were also saddened by it. Alas, as he gears up to leave Port Charles, his portrayer is already teasing about a possible return.

GH Spoilers: Schools Out For Summer, So Cam Will Make A Comeback!

GH spoilers note that while Cam’s “send-off” took place during the March 28th episode, both Lipton and Webber should be back in the little town sooner than fans may think. According to Soap Opera Digest (SOD), as the school year ends for college students in early summer, Cameron will be back to hang out with friends and family, at that point in time.

Lipton reveals to SOD that working on the soap has been an important part of his life. He also notes that he wants to let “everyone” know how grateful he is to be a part of such an incredible community.

As for what lies in store for Mr. Webber once he returns to Port Chuckles is anyone’s guess. While he and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have agreed to stay friends, she’s currently enjoying a bad-boy fling with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). With that said, being in a romance with a mobster can grow old fast, which is something Ms. Jacks’s mom Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could attest to.

So perhaps by the time Cam leaves and comes back, Josslyn may be interested in rekindling a relationship with Webber. After all, he’s not only smart and sweet, but he’s also handsome, loyal, and someone you can trust your life with. Still, will he return to the little town a single pringle or will he snag someone’s heart while away at Stanford? Only time will tell!
