If there’s one person that might be able to get through to him, it might be her. There’s some speculation that Doria Ragland might be interested in having crisis talks with King Charles, should she decide to travel to London with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for his coronation. There’s a very good chance that the Duchess of Sussex’s mom will also be in London to help the royal couple with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. Here’s what you need to know.
As many royal fans can recall, Doria and King Charles got along very well during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding back in 2018. In fact, King Charles was the one who seemed to have spent the most time with Doria in London, as he wanted to make sure that she felt comfortable in her new setting among all the members of the royal family. And from the outside in, it sure did look like the two hit it off well.
Fast-forward to the present time and unfortunately, things have gotten so bad between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the rest of the royal family that no one is even on speaking terms anymore. In fact, Harry took a trip to London for his court case against the Daily Mail and didn’t even visit his father or his brother, Prince William while there. Everyone has been keeping their distance from one another ever since both Harry and Meghan threw the royal family under the bus with their multiple interviews, their Netflix docuseries and of course, Harry’s book, Spare.
And while no one knows what the future might hold for Harry and Meghan, if there’s one person that can help mend things between them and the royals in London, it could very well be Doria Ragland. After all, she is the least controversial family member that has managed to keep her head down but also speak softly but firmly when needed to. That, and King Charles might actually listen to what she has to say. Watch this space.
