General Hospital spoilers say that Cynthia Watros has something to say when it comes to her character Nina Reeves and her future with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It’s going to be hard for them to stay together while they spend time apart. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers say that Sonny wants a little time away and space from her. In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Cynthia admitted that Nina is definitely struggling with Sonny’s decision to put their relationship on hold for now. While there’s no doubt that he’s doing it for their safety and their future, Nina has been put in a very difficult place because of it. After all, she does love Sonny with all of her heart.
Cynthia says, “She doesn’t like it. That hurts her heart, but also, she can understand it. There is a lot of conflict for Nina because it’s not only her now. She has a daughter, even though that daughter doesn’t want to spend a lot of time with her.
The actress continued, “And she does have other family that she cares about. She’s got Maxie, she’s got James… she’s starting to get this whole little group of family members. So she’s worried about what this could cost them, Sonny being in the mob. Nina always knew what Sonny did for a living but she sort of stuck her head in the sand a little bit when they got back from Nixon Falls because she loves him so much.”
While it might have taken awhile for it to happen, fans have warmed up to Nina and Sonny’s relationship and want to see them go the distance with their love, too. Of course, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
