The Young and the Restless spoilers say now that Amanda is back, she’s not taking any crap from Devon or anyone else in this fictional town of Genoa City for that matter. And while Devon and Amanda do try to talk things out, their conversation goes nowhere. That’s because Amanda is still quite upset that she caught him sleeping with Abby right before she left town. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Mishael Morgan, who plays Amanda on the hit CBS soap, previews,” Amanda believes that there was something going on below the surface that Devon and Abby didn’t want to acknowledge. Now that it’s been a few months, there’s that hope in the back of Amanda’s mind that maybe what happened was an accident or just a one off.”
Yet, it looks like those hopes are dashed the moment that Amanda sees Devon and Abby together at the bicentennial ball. Clearly, they’ve become more than just friends. Mishael continues, “Amanda sees that they have obviously continued a relationship, which makes her upset. Even though it’s something that she almost expected, it’s hard to be confronted with reality.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Devon sees Amanda and asks to speak with her. Mishael says, “Amanda is kind of taken aback because Devon almost demands that they talk. The contrast is really with Abby, who is a little bit more understanding, even though she’s clearly uncomfortable with the situation, but at least she tries to be respectful. She says, ‘You don’t owe us anything, but please spare him a few minutes,’ It’s clear that Amanda is conflicted and when Abby asks, ‘Please,’ Amanda decides to hear Devon out.”’
It sounds as though Devon still has something that he needs to get off his chest, for better or for worse. Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
