This time around, it’s all business. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry, along with Sadie Frost and Elton John, have all arrived at High Court in London for their hearing against the Associated Newspapers over hacking claims. It seems as though the Duke of Sussex is just focused on this court case as there’s a very good chance that he won’t be seeing his father, King Charles, nor his brother, Prince William, during this trip back home to the UK. Here’s what you need to know.
According to new reports, Prince Harry and the other public figures claim that they were targeted by a group of journalists who have hacked them over the years. But the publishers for the Associated Newspapers have denied the claims.
And while all eyes will certainly be on the court case, a lot of fans also can’t help but wonder why Prince Harry isn’t using this opportunity to see both his father and his brother while he is in the UK. Well, a lot of royal fans and critics alike have taken to social media to comment on the matter with, “His father claims to be too busy to see his son, and suddenly, it’s half term, so his brother can’t see him, although half term is the best time for visiting,” along with, “Another missed opportunity in not bringing the children to see their relatives. Imagine growing up isolated from family through no fault of your own.”
Another critic wrote, “I think that’s the whole point of him coming to this preliminary hearing…to add more media speculation on the run up to the Coronation. Not so triggered by the paps now is he? Managed to cope with not that much security…I’m sure the home office will be pleased with this.”
So far Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about the matter but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
