General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, March 27 tease encouraging words, worried friends and moving forward. Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) gives some encouraging words, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is worried about a friend, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) wants to move forward.
At the Ashford-Robinson house, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has just showed up to visit Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Marshall has encouraging words. Trina might assume Marshall doesn’t like Spencer or like her with Spencer as a boyfriend based on previous conversation, but he smiles and says “that’s where you’re wrong”. Marshall seems to be big on second chances and giving people a chance and it sounds like that is what he’s doing with Spencer.
If that’s the case, Trina will be relieved and so will Spencer. Approval’s always a good thing.
At Charlie’s Pub, Elizabeth talks to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about her worries about Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy). No one has heard from her and she hasn’t answered Elizabeth’s many texts, and Elizabeth fears there’s a deeper reason why she’s been silent. Previously, Marshall had also expressed worries about Epiphany’s cross country move from California to Baltimore, Maryland. She’d passed her MCATS with flying colors, did pre-med in California and now had been accepted at Johns Hopkins.
Meanwhile, Spencer is incredulous, saying that’s the last thing he expected someone to say, and he’s got a big smile on his face. It sounds like he’s taking in Marshall’s encouraging words as he’s there to connect with Trina. Approval is always good, especially when her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was so negative.
Trina will be glad if Marshall gives Spencer his stamp of approval. Now, as long as he doesn’t have to go through Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) approval process, they’re good.
Elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is happy to help when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) runs into her in front of Kelly’s. Maxie is getting performers for the Nurses’ Ball and Josslyn tells her anything she needs, she’s in. Usually, there have been nurses performing in a dance but there have always been non-nurses filling in. Josslyn now has something to occupy her mind besides worrying about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and the danger he’s in. She’ll get right on it.
Valentin talks to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the couch at the safe house, and it’s obvious he’s not talking about the next step in the takedown plan. He tells Anna he would like to know what’s next for them, as a couple. They’re waiting for Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) to report back from delivering a fake Ice Princess necklace to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Unless they hear different, they’ll continue to assume all is going as planned. They hope so since Eileen refused to wear a wire.
Meanwhile, Eileen is with Victor at his Metro Court suite, and she’s in trouble. She won’t have a chance to call Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about a meeting. Victor wouldn’t let her go until they checked the necklace together, and the coordinates in the jewels are fake. Eileen looks nervous as she suspects he’s onto her, and she tries to get away but Victor tells her they’re just getting started. Eileen wonders exactly what they’re just getting started with.
Meanwhile, someone else’s plot is thwarted as Cameron Webber (William Lipton) stops by his grandma Laura’s house and is met with Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) on her way out. Laura gave her some cash to use for emergency and she stuck it in her bag along with all her things, and scooped up Ace Cassadine-Prince (Joey and Jay Clay). She was ready to take off for parts unknown with the baby, and Cameron asks her if she’s going somewhere.
It doesn’t look like she is now, it’s a lot harder to kick someone where it counts and run for it with baby in her arm instead of her belly! As Trina predicted, Esmé’s true colors are showing already.
