General Hospital spoilers say that a lot of people can’t help but wonder what happened to Billy Miller. After all, he managed to capture a lot of hearts and win fans over as his characters Drew Cain, Jason Morgan and even Jake Doe. And while there was some speculation that the actor would come back after he left Port Charles in 2019, it’s been several years now and he’s still nowhere to be seen. Here’s what you need to know.
As many fans can recall, Billy was a fan favorite on both General Hospital and The Young and the Restless, where he played Billy Abbott before actor Jason Thompson took over the role. The actor was last seen on the canvas back in August of 2019 and as of press time, there has been no indication made that suggests he is looking to return to General Hospital anytime soon. Could this mean that he’s quit daytime television for good?
While the actor might not be working in the soap industry right now, that doesn’t mean he’s not working altogether. He has had small roles on television shows such as NCIS, The Rookie, and Truth Be Told. He also played Macus on Suits up until 2019 and had a role on Ray Donovan back in 2017.
While Billy himself has not made any comments as to what he is doing now and what he plans on doing in the future, there’s no doubt that his fans miss seeing him on the canvas. Plus, it’s still uncertain if Jason Morgan truly did die back in 2021. If he’s not dead and seeing how actor Steve Burton is not coming back to General Hospital, there’s always the possibility that Billy could take over the role. After all, when it comes to this fictional world of Port Charles, anything can happen. Until that happens, we are going to keep our fingers crossed!
